Well, the Radiant concert fell through because my ride doesn't have any clean clothes to wear. That's the most interesting excuse I've ever heard, so I couldn't be mad. Instead, we'll go with the original plan and see Pirates of the Caribbean 2 tonight at midnight. I haven't been to a midnight showing of a movie since, well, all three Lord of the Rings flicks. Those midnight showings were interesting because it was full of folks dressed as Gandalf, hobbits, and the like.
I wonder if anyone will show up dressed as a pirate tonight? If so, I must take pictures and laugh at them.
Today was uneventful. That's the best way to put it, I think. I got off work at 9:30..in the morning. There was nothing to do, nobody to see, no paperwork to see, so SFC Strayhorn let us go early. Way early. I spent the rest of the day working on my Class A's and cleaning my room. Went to dinner at Chili's with Landrum, then bought tickets to see Pirates of the Carribean II tomorrow at midnight, which I promptly returned when I found out that Radiant is playing in Austin tomorrow night. Landrum and I are going to head to Austin, meet up with some friends, catch up with Levi and the gang from Radiant, and enjoy a great rock and roll show.
I'll sleep this weekend.
I went home this weekend, and it was awesome. Busy, but awesome. Spent nearly the entire weekend with my family, including my sisters, who were home from college along with Chris. We ate a lot of good food, went to the Astros game last night, went to see Superman Returns on Sunday, hung out with Cade, went to see Radiant (my favorite band) play on Sunday night, and lots of other stuff. I'll post more tomorrow. Right now, I am exhausted and ready to get some sleep.
