What are some of your favorite holiday traditions?
Submitted by sami711.
I guess it's different for everyone, but for me, the simple process of getting our entire family to spend a few days together is the thing I love the most. I always go home and spend the night at the parents, along with my sisters (who are both in college), and we get up on Christmas morning and cook breakfast and just spend time together.
In a time where it's hard to get all five of us in the same place at the same time, that's something that I treasure.
I also love the old Christmas shows, like Rudolph and Frosty and the rest.
What is your pet peeve, the one thing which really drives you mad?

Complainers. I'm surrounded by a bevy of them these days, and it drives me crazy. I understand that certain situations are sometimes unavoidable, but I can't stand people who complain just for the sake of complaining. I get hounded by people all the time who complain about the Army, people who don't seem to understand that nobody forced them to enlist or join in the first place. I always point out this little fact along with the concept that they're actually drawing a paycheck for the stuff we do, but it seems to go over the heads of most.
They're in for a reality check when they get in the real world.
What comedian makes you pee your pants laughing?
Submitted by pookieb.
There's only two comedians that make me laugh hard, and one of them isn't even a real comedian. Sasha Baron Cohen doesn't qualify as your standard comedian, but he's funnier, more subversive and a whole lot more brilliant than just about everyone else out there.
My all-time favorite, laugh-out-loud comedian would be Mitch Hedberg. It's a real shame he couldn't get his issues together, because he's hysterical and the world truly misses his unique brand of comedy.
What's your favorite radio station, past or present?
I don't really have a favorite radio station. I've never been a huge radio listener, instead choosing to either purchase my own music or make playlists to listen to. And hey, I'm not just saying this because it's the cool thing to do; I could never stand regular radio stations because of all the advertisements.
When I *do* listen to radio, it's of the talk variety. 610 Sports in Houston is a pretty good choice.
What's your sign? What do you think of astrology and horoscopes?
I'm a Scorpio, but that's about as much as I know. I actually had to look up my sign on Google, as I've never really looked at my horoscope or astrological sign with any interest. I guess that last sentence will answer the second part of the QOTD, won't it?
Horoscopes are silly and are nothing more than a meaningless diversion, something to read when you're bored. I don't think I've ever met anyone who takes them seriously, and there's a good chance that I will mock the first person I meet who does so.
What albums are in heavy rotation for you right now?
There's actually nothing as far as albums go in heavy rotation for me right now, but I'll say that the new single "When You Were Young" from The Killers is STILL getting tons and tons of play for me.
I haven't even opened my iTunes as of late, simply because I've been using Pandora more and more.
Play any instrument or speak any language, which do you choose?
Question submitted by cruftbox.vox.com.
Being a musician, I'd have to go with play any instrument.
I already play a ton of them, but to be an expert at any instrument I choose? The possibilities are endless for a musician to get work if he's that varied in what he can play.
What's one thing that you hope to do or accomplish before the end of this year?
This one is simple.
Get out of the Army.
What's the one CD that will totally remind you of the Summer of 2006?
This is the one record that I listen to ALL THE TIME nowadays. I know every song by heart, and a lot of recent memories have happened while this record was playing. So yes, I'd say that this is the album that I'll associate with the summer of 2006.
